In this role, you will sit at the intersection of IT operations and cybersecurity, ensuring that enterprise systems, endpoints, and user environments remain secure, stable, and efficiently managed. You will act as a first line of technical support while also taking ownership of core security operations such as vulnerability management, patching, and access control. The position requires a hands-on professional who is comfortable in fast-moving, high-security environments and who can balance operational IT needs with strong security principles. You will also contribute to the safe adoption of AI tools across the organization, helping teams understand and mitigate emerging risks. Working closely with security and infrastructure teams, you will play a key role in strengthening endpoint protection, improving visibility across systems, and maintaining a resilient technology environment. Accountabilities:- Provide first-line IT support, resolving technical issues efficiently while meeting service-level expectations and minimizing downtime.
- Manage the full lifecycle of endpoints including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and virtual desktops, covering deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee patch management across endpoints, servers, cloud systems, and VDI environments to ensure systems remain secure and up to date.
- Conduct and support vulnerability scanning activities, analyze results, prioritize remediation efforts, and track issues through resolution.
- Manage identity and access administration, ensuring proper provisioning, deprovisioning, and enforcement of least-privilege access controls.
- Support and monitor security tools such as endpoint protection, DLP, email security, and related threat prevention systems.
- Maintain accurate asset inventories and ensure visibility into hardware, software, and user access across the organization.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure secure and seamless user access transitions.
- Assist in AI tool adoption by identifying security risks such as data leakage, prompt injection, and unsafe integrations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, IT operations, or a similar technical support role.
- Hands-on experience with endpoint management, identity and access management, and MDM tools.
- Familiarity with patch management processes and willingness to expand scope across broader infrastructure environments.
- Basic understanding of vulnerability scanning and interpretation of results in a security context.
- Awareness of AI tools used in workplace environments and their associated security risks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, non-technical language.
- Highly proactive, self-directed mindset with strong ownership and problem-solving abilities.
- Exposure to fast-paced or security-sensitive environments is a plus.
- Nice-to-have: security certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP), scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash), or experience with LLM security concepts.
