Security Analyst (Remote-USA)

This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to deepen their expertise in incident response, threat hunting, and security operations within a fast-paced, hybrid enterprise environment.  You will play a key role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats using modern tools and frameworks, while also contributing to internal audit and compliance efforts. What You'll Do:<ul><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Investigate and respond to alerts from XDR tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Conduct proactive threat hunting across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Analyze DLP, Web Filtering and Audit log (e.g., Forcepoint, Cisco Umbrella).</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Participate in an on-call rotation for incident response and escalation support.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Assist in internal audits and compliance assessments (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Document findings, create incident reports, and contribute to post-mortem reviews.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, and security engineering teams to improve detection and response capabilities.</li></ul> What We're Looking For:<ul><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a SOC, IR, or audit role.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Hands-on experience with SIEM and XDR platforms.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Familiarity with threat detection methodologies and MITRE ATT&CK framework.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.</li></ul> Preference Given to those with:<ul><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Certifications such as Security+, GCIH, CISA, or CySA+.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell) or automation tools.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and cloud security principles.</li></ul> Where You'll Work: This fully remote position is open to anyone in the United States, and is expected to work Eastern Time Zone hours.
