- Accountabilities
- Enhance security monitoring and incident response processes across cloud infrastructure.
- Support vulnerability management programs and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Optimize and maintain security tooling, including SIEM, EDR, and cloud security platforms.
- Refine incident response procedures and security runbooks.
- Conduct security investigations and forensics as needed.
- Expand Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations and strengthen identity management systems.
- Advance Zero Trust architecture and evaluate AI-specific security controls.
- Support SOC2 compliance programs, vendor security assessments, and enterprise security questionnaires.
- Provide technical security expertise to internal teams and customer-facing engagements.
- Contribute to automation of security processes and modernization of authentication and authorization systems.
- Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security operations, security engineering, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proficiency with identity management and SSO systems.
- Track record of managing security incidents from detection to resolution.
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks such as SOC2 or ISO 27001.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages for automation.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and practical implementation.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bonus: experience with AI/ML security, customer-facing security audits, relevant certifications (CISSP, Security+, AWS Security), or prior work in high-growth startup or social impact technology environments.
