The SEC Reporting Manager will lead the preparation of all external financial filings and manage compliance with SEC and U.S. GAAP regulations. This role will partner cross-functionally with technical accounting, financial reporting, and audit teams to establish a scalable and compliant financial reporting environment. This is a high-impact role suited to an experienced accounting professional who brings a blend of public accounting rigor and operating company execution.
Lead preparation and filing of 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other SEC filings (e.g., S-1) in compliance with regulatory standards
Draft and maintain high-quality technical accounting memos for complex transactions (e.g., M&A, stock comp, leases, revenue recognition)
Oversee disclosure checklists, tie-outs, and XBRL tagging (in coordination with external vendors)
Assist with SOX 404 readiness, including documentation of ICFR processes and controls
Interface with external auditors (PwC) and internal stakeholders to support quarterly and year-end audit processes
Stay current on new accounting pronouncements and assess impact on company reporting
Support audit committee materials and quarterly reporting cadence
Contribute to ERP/reporting systems implementation and process automation
CPA required; Big 4 foundation strongly preferred
7+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or SEC reporting roles at public or pre-IPO companies
Demonstrated experience managing or significantly contributing to S-1 or IPO readiness processes
Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC disclosure requirements
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
Self-starter with high attention to detail and ability to work independently
Experience with Workiva, NetSuite, or related tools a plus
Collaborative approach and low-ego, with strong cross-functional EQ
