Job Description

Part-Time and Seasonal Roles (Hybrid Remote or Remote depending on location) with a stable and ethical firm based out of the San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay).

Seeking experienced Tax professionals who are looking for flexibility.

Support will mainly be needed during tax season (January through April); however, there is also potential for a few of these roles to evolve into part-time work throughout the year.

These are part-time or seasonal positions open to candidates residing in and eligible to work in the United States. Ideal for tax professionals who have reached a point in their careers where they are looking for more flexibility--ideally able to meet in person if needed; however, this is a dynamic opportunity.

This role is with a well-established, stable and growing firm and will be located in the Concord/Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek area.

Qualifications

  • Is an EA or CPA with extensive public accounting experience focused on complex individual and business related tax
  • Must have solid computer skills technical proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word & Outlook) and with recognized complex tax accounting software (Ideally CCH)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Flexible problem solver with the ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Has earned a Bachelor’s degree, ideally a Masters, with a focus on, accounting or tax

This is a hybrid or remote role with a firm based out of the Concord/Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek area.
