What will you do as a SDR/BDR Manager ?
We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead and grow our BD team across New York and London. In this role, you'll coach and develop a high-performing team while executing our business development strategy, focusing on bringing our innovative LegalTech solutions to enterprise and finance clients.
As a strategic, data-driven, and people-first leader, you'll be responsible for developing early-career talent into top sales performers, optimizing our outbound prospecting approach, and building scalable processes. Your experience in managing complex sales cycles and building relationships with large organizations will be essential.
Experience in legal services or LegalTech is valuable, as you'll work closely with legal teams to understand their specific needs and challenges while ensuring our outreach and messaging align with Robin AI's business goals.
What you'll do
Lead and mentor a team of BDRs in New York and London, ensuring the obtainment of weekly activity goals and consistent conversion objectives
Oversee business development strategy and continuously optimize this to pivot in line with market changes, capturing new opportunities
Coach your team, empowering effective collaboration with the account management and other partner teams, and continuous learning and development
Collaborate with Sales Enablement to build out the tools which will ensure the continuous capability building for your team
Partner effectively with the leaders of cross-functional partners across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Implementation to achieve company goals, vision, and strategy.
Monitor key metrics and continuously improve processes to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
Oversee quality assurance, ensuring comprehensive CRM compliance and regular business review reporting on activity and proposed optimization strategies
What about my skills?
3+ years of experience managing business development teams
Experience working in a B2B SaaS tech startup or scaleup
A passionate people leader with a proven track record of developing talent and driving team success
Proven history of exceeding sales targets and developing creative client acquisition strategies
Track record of selling innovative products to enterprise organizations is a plus
Legal services or LegalTech experience is desirable
Alternative assets experience is a plus
Strong commercial acumen, preferably gained within legal services
Outstanding storytelling abilities with a talent for communicating effectively with customers
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with a collaborative mindset
Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot knowledge is a plus)
