You will lead a customer support organization, developing processes and teams that help educators and school staff succeed.

Accountabilities:

The School Operations Sr Manager will lead a high-performing support function responsible for resolving operational and technology challenges faced by virtual school staff. This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to continuously improve service delivery through effective processes and data insights.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of customer support professionals responsible for assisting school staff with product and technology-related issues.
Establish service excellence standards and drive improvements in support processes, communication, and issue resolution.
Partner with IT, Product, and Operations leaders to prioritize challenges, communicate impacts, and advocate for school team needs.
Monitor service performance through dashboards, reporting tools, and operational metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Provide leadership teams with issue analysis, root cause insights, and recommendations to improve operational effectiveness.
Develop and implement initiatives focused on innovation, stakeholder satisfaction, and enhanced support experiences.
Manage team performance, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, assigning work, and supporting professional development.
Build strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment and effective resolution of complex operational challenges.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience leading customer support, service operations, or technology support teams, with strong analytical abilities and a passion for improving organizational performance.

7+ years of experience in customer support, service desk, IT support, operations, or a related leadership role.
Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams while driving performance and service quality.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to identify trends and recommend solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience using support platforms, reporting tools, dashboards, and operational data to improve performance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
Ability to operate effectively in a remote work environment and collaborate with distributed teams.
Experience in project management, information technology, or education technology environments is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree and prior leadership experience are desirable.
Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time and successfully complete required background checks.
