This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development and optimization of critical SAP systems within a large-scale, enterprise environment. You will work as a hands-on software engineer, designing, developing, and maintaining robust SAP ABAP solutions that support core business processes across finance, sales, and supply chain functions. The position focuses on technical delivery within SAP ECC 6.0, requiring strong coding expertise and deep system understanding. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-quality solutions that improve operational efficiency. This is a highly technical role ideal for engineers who enjoy problem-solving and building reliable enterprise applications. Accountabilities:- Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP applications within SAP ECC 6.0 environments
- Develop and support technical solutions across modules such as FI, CO, SD, MM, AR, and AP
- Build and enhance SAP components including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows
- Perform dialogue programming, ALV reporting, and development using function modules, BAPIs, RFCs, and IDOCs
- Develop and maintain SAP scripts and forms to support business documentation needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing SAP applications for performance and reliability
- Ensure adherence to development standards, coding best practices, and system architecture guidelines
- Support integration and data exchange through web services and SAP connectivity tools
Requirements:
- 4–5 years of recent, hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
- Strong expertise in SAP ECC 6.0 environments (experience within the last 4–5 years required)
- Deep knowledge of SAP modules including FI, CO, SD, MM, AR, and AP
- Proven experience with ABAP development techniques such as ALV reporting, IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and function modules
- Experience in SAP Forms (SAP Script or Smart Forms) and dialogue programming
- Strong programming and software engineering background with a focus on hands-on development
- Ability to design, build, and maintain enterprise-level SAP solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Exposure to web services and system integration is an asset
- Must be comfortable working in a remote environment aligned with Eastern Time Zone
