One of our companies is currently looking for a Sales Solutions Engineer for the Central Territory in the United States.
This role involves providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process to help identify energy-saving opportunities for commercial businesses. You will work closely with the sales team to assess feasibility, generate proposals, conduct site surveys, and ensure the recommended solutions align with the client's needs. This position requires a deep understanding of energy management systems and the ability to communicate complex solutions in an understandable way.
Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to qualify opportunities and conduct discovery sessions with potential clients in industries such as retail, healthcare, and manufacturing.
- Analyze commercial energy systems, including LED lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, gas, water, and renewable energy solutions, and assess their potential for cost-saving.
- Conduct site surveys to gather data, review utility billing, and evaluate the feasibility of solutions to ensure a perfect fit for the Budderfly model.
- Provide detailed proposals and recommendations to Sales Account Executives and customers, including financial evaluations and ROI analysis.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to support business development and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Regularly interface with the internal solutions and operations teams to ensure alignment on project feasibility, implementation, and feedback on current trends.
- Travel (25-50%) within the Central States region for site visits, audits, and other business events.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in sales support, installation, or energy management, particularly in systems such as LED, HVAC, refrigeration, and renewable energy solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with energy audits, cost-saving modeling, and commercial energy solutions.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and remotely.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet clients and attend business events.
