The Opportunity
We have a good problem: Our marketing engine is on fire.
egelloC is a rapidly scaling college admissions coaching company helping students get into top colleges and universities, including Ivy League and Top 100 schools. We have grown to a $4M/year business, and we are aggressively scaling to hit $10M in 2026.
To reach that goal, our Advisors (Closers) need to stay focused on closing. We need a world-class Sales Setter to be the first point of contact for our inbound leads—qualifying the serious families and ensuring our Advisors' calendars are filled with high-intent, qualified opportunities.
This is NOT a cold-calling role. You will be working with warm, inbound leads who have already raised their hands. Your job is to strike while the iron is hot, build instant rapport, and bridge the gap between "interested" and "booked."
Why Top Setters Should Join Us
- Warm Inbound Leads: No more "dialing for dollars." You are calling, texting, emailing, and meeting over Zoom with families who want to hear from us.
- The Launchpad: This is the ultimate training ground. High-performing Setters at egelloC are the first in line for promotion to Advisor (Closer) roles ($130k+ OTE).
- Direct Commission Upside: You are rewarded directly for the quality of your sets. When the Advisor closes the deal you set, you get paid.
- Real Impact: You are the first person a stressed-out parent talks to. You aren't just "booking a meeting"; you are the first step in changing a student's life.
What You'll Own
- The Rapid Response: Contact inbound leads within minutes of their inquiry to qualify their needs and level of interest.
- The Bridge: Conduct discovery calls and Zoom meetings to ensure the family is a fit for our high-ticket programs and transition them to our Advisors (Closers), while also providing value through giving general college admissions information.
- Calendar Mastery: Expertly manage Advisor calendars, ensuring a seamless handoff and high "show-up" rates.
- Pipeline Mastery: Relentlessly follow up via phone, text, and email with leads in our CRM (Close.io). You don't let a "maybe" go cold.
- Set-to-Sale Excellence: Focus on the quality of the appointment. Your success is measured by the meetings you set that ultimately convert to enrolled students.
Who Thrives Here
- High-Energy Communicator: You are "contagiously enthusiastic." Your voice carries authority and warmth through the phone and over Zoom.
- Resilient & Persistent: You understand that "not right now" isn't a "no." You enjoy the hunt and the follow-up.
- Consultative DNA: You don't pressure; you diagnose. You can build trust with a high-net-worth parent in under 60 seconds.
- Tech-Fluent: You can navigate Slack, Zoom, and Close.io, plus other tech tools, simultaneously without breaking a sweat.
- Education & Admissions Fluency: Bachelor’s degree preferred. While we provide training, having a baseline knowledge of the US college admissions landscape and process is a huge perk. You should be able to (or quickly learn to) discuss the difference between Engineering and Humanities tracks or the stress of the Common App vs. University of California App with empathy and authority.
The Pay & Structure (The Details)
- Base Salary: $36,000 Annualized Salary (paid bi-weekly).

- Starting: 2% commission on closed revenue.
- Post-Ramp (90 Days): Increases to 3% commission on closed revenue.
- OTE (On-Target Earnings): Average performers earn $55k–$75k. Top performers would be looking at $85k+.
