Our company
Meadow is a contemporary funeral service reshaping an outdated, predatory industry. Founded from personal experiences by experienced entrepreneurs, we offer transparent pricing, unmatched hospitality, and personalized memorials hosted at top venues.
You probably didn’t picture yourself working at a funeral home startup—just like those who joined Uber or DoorDash didn’t plan careers in taxis or food delivery. You might think this category is boring or depressing. Most people do. That’s exactly why it’s outdated—and why we get to rewrite the story. A once-in-a-lifetime shift in deathcare is happening now, and Meadow—a software-powered, hospitality-first service—is meeting the moment. Reinvention takes people willing to bet on something big and unexpected.
We handle all arrangements online or by phone, making the process easier. Deathcare today is too expensive and too complicated: our mission is to transform every aspect to better serve families across America.
We now serve a meaningful share of each of our markets and have secured significant funding to expand. One of our biggest surprises has been how powerful and inspiring it is to serve families at their time of need.
Sales Representative
Meadow is reimagining what funeral care can feel like in the US—with transparent pricing, modern options, and a human touch that earns families’ trust. We offer simple cremation services and beautiful memorials across California, with plans to scale nationally.
This is a Sales role on the Care team which is the first contact for families in need of cremation and end-of-life services. We’re running like an inbound sales team, but don’t hard sell. You’ll own warm, inbound leads from first call to close.
Your job is to guide them toward a confident decision for Meadow, and bring our standard of unmatched hospitality to life in every conversation.
We’ve built a strong foundation: an expert team, proven playbooks, and the infrastructure to support growth. We’re building the most compassionate and professional sales team in the industry.

What You’ll Do
You're the first point of contact for families who often don't understand how the process works. Your day includes:
Guide conversations from first call to close
Answer calls from families seeking information and guidance on cremation options
Provide consultative support that helps families understand their choices clearly
Hit or exceed a 50% close rate through well done, empathetic conversations
Manage your pipeline independently
Balance efficient process management with personalized attention to each family
Follow up consistently to ensure families have what they need to make confident decisions
Act with Agency: close with care and never miss following up with a lead
Success comes from establishing trust quickly and guiding conversations with both expertise and empathy. Those who master the human connection consistently outperform those who just follow the playbook.
