The Role
We are seeking an exceptional Sales Engineer to join our go-to-market team. The ideal candidate has strong cross-functional technical knowledge and experience selling large-scale, data-driven enterprise software in the cloud. You are intimately familiar with the buying behaviors and needs of enterprise cybersecurity customers, and you love helping them realize their goals in protecting their organizations. You are not intimidated by challenges, nor afraid to share your opinion.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical expert who understands the CISO and Security Operations roles, translating technical standards and practices into business problems that Living Security can address
- Support Sales and Marketing activities at industry conferences, demonstrating Unify and providing technical expertise
- Articulate how Living Security Unify creates value through integration with leading cybersecurity and identity management solutions
- Manage technical aspects of the pre-sales lifecycle, including product demonstrations and proof of value engagements
- Evangelize the emerging Human Risk Management category
- Demonstrate deep understanding of complex machine learning and identity correlation technologies
- Engage customers and prospects as a trusted advisor
- Design and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to communicate market requirements
- Support RFP/RFI responses with technical expertise
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in information security as a Sales Engineer for leading solution providers
- Deep familiarity with leading cybersecurity and identity management solution providers, tools, and data
- Proven track record of closing large enterprise transactions in the 6 and 7 figure range
- Strong communication skills with ability to articulate business outcomes
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS-resident SaaS products, including architecture, tools, and security
- Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+)
- Experience with API integration and SSO technologies
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST)
- Background in behavioral science or machine learning
