Sales Director, Cyber (East)

The Sales Director will own regional sales strategy and execution, leading teams responsible for expanding cybersecurity solutions across public sector and enterprise accounts. This role requires a strong combination of strategic planning, sales leadership, customer engagement, and team development.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with regional business objectives, market opportunities, and customer needs.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of enterprise and public sector sellers, creating a performance-driven culture focused on growth and customer value.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key prospects, customers, and organizational stakeholders.
• Drive expansion across existing accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities within strategic territories.
• Coach sales teams through complex enterprise sales cycles, supporting consultative selling approaches and effective negotiation strategies.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows, operational challenges, and mission requirements to position solutions effectively.
• Partner with internal teams to refine go-to-market strategies, improve sales execution, and strengthen customer outcomes.
• Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and cybersecurity industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
• Establish sales processes, track performance metrics, and ensure consistent execution against revenue goals.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced enterprise sales leader with a proven ability to build successful teams, manage complex sales environments, and deliver growth within technology markets. They should combine strong business acumen, cybersecurity knowledge, and exceptional leadership capabilities.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of enterprise software or SaaS sales experience, including at least 4 years leading sales teams supporting enterprise and/or public sector accounts.
• Proven track record of success selling complex solutions into large organizations with multiple stakeholders and extended buying cycles.
• Experience driving cybersecurity sales growth and understanding of security market dynamics is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading high-growth technology sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise sales methodologies, negotiation strategies, and customer value-based selling.
• Ability to develop trusted relationships with senior executives, public sector leaders, and strategic partners.
• Excellent communication, coaching, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while managing distributed teams.
