As our Sales Development Representative, you’ll be at the front line of Aikido’s growth. You’ll research, prospect, and engage with potential customers across North America, opening doors and creating qualified opportunities for our sales team.
This is a high-impact role with a clear growth path. You’ll be trained on Aikido’s platform, sharpen your outbound skills, and become a true security sales professional.
Responsibilities:
Prospect into named accounts using email, cold calls, and LinkedIn/social outreach
Research companies and contacts to personalize outreach and identify the best entry points
Generate and qualify pipeline by setting meetings for Account Executives
Execute outbound sequences and test messaging that resonates with our ICP (fintech, healthtech, dev tools, etc.)
Track activities and progress in HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Collaborate with marketing and sales on campaigns and events to maximize coverage
Represent Aikido at industry events and conferences as needed.
1–2 years of SDR/BDR or relevant sales experience (internships, customer-facing roles also valued)
Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold outreach
Familiar with sales tools (Hubspot, LinkedIn, Outreach, etc.)
Curious, coachable, and motivated to grow into a closing role
Interest in developer tools, SaaS, or cybersecurity is a strong plus
Excellent communicator
