Sales Development Representative

Hourly Rate: $25-27/hour (commensurate with experience)

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) supports referral growth by building relationships with healthcare providers, physician offices, and referral coordinators through proactive outreach via phone, fax, and email. This role partners closely with Business Development Managers (BDMs), Clinic Directors (CDs), and regional leadership to identify opportunities, strengthen referral-source relationships, and increase patient access to care.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and prioritize targets using multiple reports and data sources, with the ability to shift priorities quickly.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail when documenting provider contact records, notes, and outreach across systems.
- Ability to manage a high volume of targeted healthcare providers and practices through consistent outbound outreach via phone, fax, and email.
- Build relationships with new and existing referral sources to uncover growth opportunities and strengthen engagement.
- Track referral trends and proactively respond to opportunities, declines, or inconsistencies.
- Partner with Business Development Managers and Clinic Directors to transition opportunities and coordinate follow-up.
- Drive measurable outcomes including referral increases, improved consistency, and qualified handoffs.

- Ability to manage workflow, follow outreach cadence, and prioritize effectively.
- Collaborative approach with strong internal partnership skills.
- Sound judgement and ability to escalate sensitive matters appropriately

Qualifications
- Required
- Experience in outbound calling, sales development, customer service, healthcare outreach, or related fields
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Comfort using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), spreadsheets, and reporting tools
- Ability to manage a repeatable, organized workflow
- Preferred
- Healthcare referrals or medical office experience
- Multi-location healthcare organization experience
- Salesforce experience
- Report-driven territory prioritization
- Experience partnering with field sales or clinic leadership teams
