Job Description:

Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at ProviderSoft, you will play a vital role in the success of our sales team by focusing on outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and securing meetings with potential clients. This role is essential in driving growth and expanding the reach of our leading SaaS ERP solution tailored for the Early Childhood Education market. ProviderSoft partners with the largest and most successful organizations in the industry, providing software solutions for case management, compliance monitoring, EHR, and fiscal oversight.

As an SDR, your focus will be on identifying and engaging prospective clients through strategic outbound efforts, nurturing leads, and collaborating with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff for closing opportunities. This position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing and works closely with Sales Representatives.

 Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to engage with prospects, generate interest, and uncover opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a true hunter mentality by actively seeking new opportunities, confidently asking for meetings, staying persistent, and using strong persuasive skills to convert objections into opportunities.
  • Qualify leads through consultative conversations, understanding their needs, and aligning ProviderSoft’s solutions as a fit.
  • Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for Sales Representatives, ensuring a smooth and effective handoff.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through strategic research, targeted outreach, and database management.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to execute and optimize campaigns aimed at generating new leads and nurturing existing ones.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and ProviderSoft’s evolving product offerings to effectively position solutions during prospect interactions.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of activities, call notes, and next steps in the CRM system.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights and best practices to improve outreach strategies and drive results.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience in lead generation, sales, or SDR role within a SaaS model, with a proven track record of outbound prospecting using direct email, cold calling, and other outreach strategies to generate demand and interest.
  • Formal sales training or demonstrated expertise in consultative selling including asking insightful questions to uncover needs, building trust to reduce resistance, and confidently securing commitment for the next steps.
  • Pride in integrity; ability to build sincere and genuine professional relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an engaging and persuasive style.
  • A high degree of computer literacy and technical competency, with proficiency in CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
  • Customer-focused, approachable, and driven to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and persistent in achieving goals.
  • Competitive with themselves, collaborative with team members, and supportive of collective success.

About ProviderSoft

ProviderSoft was the dream product of a pediatric physical therapist and Early Intervention agency owner. The challenge was to effectively and efficiently manage business, and to stay ahead of the curve. A solution of technology was explored, and years were dedicated to designing, developing, and testing a prototype.

With the help of the prototype, the Agency was able to grow from a small organization servicing families in the immediate area, to include hundreds of providers servicing over 1500 children and their families. It was the ability to increase productivity, maximize service delivery, carefully track referrals, monitor performance, meet all expected deadlines, decrease expenses, and exceed the standards during audits that facilitated this growth.

ProviderSoft became a standalone technology firm in 2007, having successfully evolved from the experimental stage into a viable commercial software as a service company serving agencies across the nation. We are constantly striving to improve usability, performance, and feature-sets, and are constantly evolving to meet the ever-changing needs of health and education regulations. We do this by employing industry specialists, and of course, listening to the needs of our clients.
