Arketa is building the operating system for modern fitness and wellness. Our mission is to make wellness more accessible by empowering studios and wellness entrepreneurs to grow beyond in-person classes. We provide a powerful, all-in-one platform to manage and scale hybrid wellness businesses—whether online, in-person, or both.

With Arketa, users can easily manage schedules, accept bookings and payments, build on-demand video libraries, host retreats, and run marketing campaigns via text and email. We also offer fully branded apps and websites, so studios can deliver a seamless, professional experience across every customer touchpoint.

We’ve raised $15M in Series A funding and are growing quickly. It’s a unique moment to join us—we’re building a category-defining company in a fast-moving space, and we’re looking for teammates who are excited to help shape the future of wellness.

The Role:

We’re looking for a Sales Development Manager to lead, scale, and coach our SDR team. In this role, you’ll own the strategy, process, and execution of outbound pipeline generation and inbound qualification. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Account Executives, and RevOps to ensure the team consistently hits pipeline targets and creates a world-class first impression of Arketa for prospective customers.

This is a hands-on leadership role—perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and wants to build a high-performing team from the ground up.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and lead a high-performing SDR team that consistently meets daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets, while providing accurate forecasts to leadership.

  • Uphold exceptional opportunity quality and collaborate closely with Account Executives to achieve growth goals.

  • Partner with Enablement to consistently train SDRs on identifying, reaching, and converting qualified leads.

  • Provide ongoing, meaningful coaching and feedback (via weekly 1:1s, Nooks insights, and real-time support) to continually elevate SDR performance.

  • Work hand-in-hand with Demand Gen and Marketing teams to optimize lead quality, campaign performance, and messaging strategies.

  • Collaborate with Content, Marketing Program Managers, and Product Marketing to transform inbound interest into qualified pipeline opportunities.

  • Team up with Sales and other SDR leaders to refine opportunity management and qualification processes.

  • Conduct monthly business reviews (MBRs) that identify improvement areas and action plans based on past performance metrics.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–4+ years of experience managing or mentoring SDR/BDR teams (startup or SaaS experience preferred).

  • Proven track record of hitting pipeline targets and driving team success.

  • Excellent coaching and leadership skills; you know how to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Strong understanding of outbound sales motions, prospecting tools, and CRM (we use HubSpot + Ashby).

  • Data-driven mindset—you can dig into metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Creative problem-solver who thrives in a scrappy, fast-moving environment.

  • Passion for wellness and/or fitness is a plus!

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary, Stock Options, and Performance-based Bonuses

  • Comprehensive Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Annual Company Offsites

  • Wellness Reimbursement

  • Catered Lunches/Snacks in NY

  • Ownership and Opportunity for Advancement

For this role, the estimated annual base salary range is $80,000, with an on-target earnings (OTE) of $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, we offer equity and performance-based bonuses as part of our total compensation package. We believe in compensating fairly and transparently, and we’re happy to provide more detail during the interview process.

Arketa is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity in its workforce. We actively encourage applications from all qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. We believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters innovation and creativity, and we welcome candidates who share our values of respect, collaboration, and excellence.
