This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sage Intacct Consultant based in the United States.
This role serves as a key technical and client-facing resource throughout the Sage Intacct journey, from discovery and implementation to post-go-live support.
You’ll translate business and accounting requirements into scalable ERP configurations tailored to each client.
The position combines hands-on system consulting with training, troubleshooting, reporting, and project management.
You’ll work directly with clients to build trust, solve complex challenges, and deliver measurable improvements to their financial operations.
As a trusted advisor, you’ll help clients maximize their systems long after implementation and identify opportunities for continued improvement.

Accountabilities- Lead and manage Sage Intacct implementation projects in line with established methodologies, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Analyze, document, and translate client business and system requirements into scalable Sage Intacct configurations.
- Configure Sage Intacct modules and third-party integration tools according to client-specific requirements.
- Develop test scripts, validate configurations, and support clients through testing and go-live readiness.
- Create tailored reports and dashboards within Sage Intacct to address client reporting and business needs.
- Train end users on system functionality and help ensure a confident transition to the new platform.
- Provide responsive post-go-live technical support, managing and resolving client tickets in a timely manner.
- Build long-term client relationships by acting as a trusted advisor and proactively recommending processes and improvements that enhance outcomes.
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining quality, responsiveness, and delivery timelines.
- Partner with sales, support, developers, and other internal teams to coordinate project activities, manage handoffs, and prioritize client enhancements.
- Provide clear written project updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Research complex software issues, escalate where appropriate, and contribute to effective resolutions.
- Help strengthen internal operations by developing templates, processes, best practices, documentation, and knowledge-base resources.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in ERP software consulting or implementation, with Sage Intacct experience strongly preferred.
- Strong accounting knowledge and the ability to understand and confidently discuss the financial processes underlying ERP configurations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with strong client-service instincts and a consultative approach.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to establish credibility and trust with clients across different industries and business environments.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage several client engagements without compromising quality or responsiveness.
- Strong aptitude for ERP and business software, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms and technologies.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with an expanding client base.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, Accounting, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and standard collaboration tools.
- Hands-on experience implementing Sage Intacct across multiple modules is a strong advantage.
- Experience configuring third-party integrations, developing Sage Intacct reports and dashboards, or working with ConnectWise or similar ticketing/PSA platforms is preferred.
