The SaaS Systems Engineer will be part of a team responsible for day-to-day operation of various SaaS delivery environments, as well as ongoing initiatives to ensure demonstrated levels of reliability, scalability, and quality of service. The successful candidate will be familiar with software development and deployment processes, relational databases, Windows/Linux systems, and have scripting or programming experience. Also, they should be comfortable working with and around a wide range of platforms, programming languages, protocols, and web technologies to achieve maximum levels of operational efficiency and quality of service to customers. In addition, they will be providing day-to-day support for the Company’s internal IT infrastructure, including employee help desk, network connectivity and telecommunications activities. Some of the things you'll be doing include…Â
Day-to-day monitoring of the production service delivery environment to ensure all services and applications are operating optimally and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are metÂ
Identify optimization opportunities and solve problems affecting service delivery across all deployed applications, shared services, middle-ware and databases/data storesÂ
Operate and maintain systems supporting the provisioning of new customers, applications, and featuresÂ
Provide insight on trends requiring proactive action to stay “one step ahead” of customers and/or upcoming corporate requirementsÂ
Participate in the software design and development process to ensure maximum operational efficiency and architecture servicesÂ
Software deployment and configuration management in both Quality Assurance and Production environmentsÂ
Develop tools and utilities in support of the Operations organization and SaaS service deliveryÂ
Provide level 2/3 support for customer initiated issuesÂ
Maintain and improve the IT infrastructure, including servers, laptops/desktops, networks and telecommunicationsÂ
Deliver outstanding help desk support to employeesÂ
Establish, maintain and manage vendors responsible for providing hardware, software and/or services required to provide world-class serviceÂ
Identify systems deficiencies and recommend solutionsÂ
Document forecasts, plans and resolutions for on-going and future referenceÂ
Innovate, promote and drive adoption of tools, technologies, policies and procedures in support of continuous improvementÂ
Looking for experience with:
5+ years of corporate infrastructure experience preferably in a software development environmentÂ
5+ years of experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, and integrating enterprise technologiesÂ
4+ years of experience in administration of Windows/Linux environmentsÂ
3+ years of experience with relational databases and SQLÂ
3+ years of experience with AWS / AzureÂ
3+ years of experience in scripting and programmingÂ
2+ years of experience with help desk, network connectivity and telecommunications activitiesÂ
Additional technical skills that will help achieve success:Â
VMware experienceÂ
Automation using VB, PowerShell or a similar scripting technologyÂ
Deploying and managing virtualized infrastructureÂ
Familiarity with HTML, SCC, Java and ASP.NetÂ

For this role, the salary range is $100,000-115,000 annually. This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job and may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant elements.
At Acumatica, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
