Join our dynamic, multi-national team and be a part of a company that simplifies and enhances financial opportunities using state-of-the-art technology.</p><p></p></div><p><strong>This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office/2 days remote).</strong></p><p>Interactive Brokers is looking to hire a Client Onboarding List Screening/Risk Assessment Analyst in the Chicago Office. This entry-level position with growth potential is for highly motivated and exceptional performers. Analysts report to a Risk Assessment Team Lead and help ensure the firm complies with the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, anti-terrorist financing, sanctions, industry AML, and securities laws and regulations.</p><p><strong>What will be your responsibilities within IBKR:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Manage operational pipeline for Sanctions, Negative News, Politically Exposed Persons (“PEPs”), internal lists, and reference data alerts against sanctions watch lists administered by US and international regulatory bodies</li><li>Perform complex case investigations by sourcing data from multiple unrelated venues, including both proprietary and open sources</li><li>Draft reporting and escalation summaries for internal management and external regulatory audiences</li><li>Remain apprised of and interpret updates to US and international economic and trade-based sanctions programs</li><li>Coordinate account escalation reviews with multiple New Account groups and departments within Interactive Brokers</li></ul><p><strong>Which skills are required:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience</li><li>One to three years of experience related to AML &amp; Sanctions Compliance in financial services or other relevant industry</li><li>Knowledge of financial crime risk, sanctions, AML and procedures</li><li>Experience gained in a leading broker, bank, regulator or professional services firm</li><li>Awareness of financial market trading products</li><li>An additional foreign language would be advantageous (e.g., German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic)</li><li>Ability to work in a small-team environment, work independently, and multitask with minimal supervision</li><li>Excellent writing and oral communication skills</li><li>AML certification, such as ACAMS or CFE, is a plus</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>To be successful in this position, you will have the following:</strong></p><ul><li>Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision.</li><li>Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent collaboration and communication (Verbal and written) skills.</li><li>Outstanding organizational and time management skills.</li></ul><h3>Company Benefits &amp; Perks</h3><div><ul><li>Competitive salary, annual performance-based bonus and stock grant</li><li>Retirement plan 401(k) with competitive company match</li><li>Excellent health and wellness benefits, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, and company-paid medical healthcare premium.</li><li>Wellness screenings and assessments, health coaches and counseling services through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li><li>Paid time off and a generous parental leave policy</li><li>Daily company lunch allowance provided, and a fully stocked kitchen with healthy options for breakfast and snacks</li><li>Corporate events, including team outings, dinners, volunteer activities and company sports teams</li><li>Education reimbursement and learning opportunities</li><li>Modern offices with multi-monitor setups</li></ul></div>
