Working in a data-driven and highly collaborative environment, you will leverage your coding expertise to support continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in analytical work with strong attention to detail and a passion for healthcare accuracy and compliance.

Accountabilities:

  • Evaluate, assign, and validate CPT/HCPCS codes, revenue codes, and pricing structures aligned with clinical documentation and billing guidelines.
  • Perform advanced data analysis using Excel (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and reconciliation tools) to identify discrepancies and support decision-making.
  • Analyze billing and operational data to detect trends, errors, and opportunities for improvement, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Monitor regulatory, payer, and coding updates to ensure ongoing compliance with charge master and revenue integrity standards.
  • Collaborate with clinical, coding, HIM, CDI, RCM, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and support system or process improvements.
  • Act as a liaison during system updates, new service implementations, and pricing or charge master reviews.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional coding experience within a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Strong experience with charge capture audits and revenue integrity processes.
  • Solid understanding of CPT, HCPCS, and hospital coding standards and billing workflows.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including data manipulation, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables.
  • CCS, CIRCC, COC, CPC, or equivalent coding certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Epic or similar EHR systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across clinical and financial teams.

Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary range: $46,586.59 – $66,107.05 (based on experience, skills, and location)
  • Eligibility for annual bonus plan (target: 5%)
  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits package
  • Opportunity to work in a high-impact healthcare analytics and revenue integrity environment
  • Collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on improving patient care and financial outcomes
  • Career development and continuous learning opportunities in a growing organization
  • Inclusive workplace with strong commitment to equal opportunity employment
