This role focuses on the rapidly evolving Talent Acquisition landscape as organizations adapt to AI-enabled business models and new approaches to attracting and onboarding top talent.
You will lead research exploring how technology, AI, and emerging solutions are transforming recruitment and workforce strategies.
The position combines quantitative and qualitative research, market analysis, surveys, client engagement, and thought leadership.
You will build relationships with technology vendors while engaging IT leaders to understand priorities, challenges, and use cases across industries.
Your research will also support investors with insights into market growth, competitive dynamics, and technology trends within Talent Acquisition.
Working within a global Workplace Solutions research environment, you will collaborate with analysts covering Human Capital Management and Employee Experience.
The role offers the opportunity to produce influential research, advise senior audiences, and shape understanding of one of the fastest-changing areas of the technology market.
Accountabilities- Conduct primary and secondary survey and market research focused on Talent Acquisition, emerging technologies, market dynamics, and evolving buyer requirements.
- Develop and publish a broad range of research reports based on survey findings, market data, client insights, and technology analysis, with an expected output of at least 30 reports annually.
- Engage regularly with vendor clients through inquiry and briefing meetings, events, and other research interactions to understand their priorities and provide relevant insights.
- Conduct regular inquiry conversations with IT leadership clients to identify technology priorities, challenges, adoption patterns, and Talent Acquisition use cases across industries.
- Deliver timely custom research and analysis tailored to the specific needs and strategic questions of vendor clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key technology vendors and other stakeholders across the Talent Acquisition ecosystem.
- Conduct conversations with investors to provide perspectives on market growth, competitive landscapes, technology developments, and emerging opportunities.
- Continuously expand knowledge of research methodologies, analytical tools, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and emerging technologies to strengthen research quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with immediate and globally distributed colleagues, sharing knowledge and contributing to broader research initiatives.
- Manage multiple research projects, client engagements, reports, and travel commitments while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Present research findings and strategic insights clearly to senior-level audiences through written reports, briefings, meetings, and other client-facing formats.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the technology sector, particularly in research, consulting, market intelligence, or a comparable analytical capacity.
- Strong proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative social science research methodologies, including the ability to design, conduct, analyze, and communicate research findings.
- Proficiency with research and productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and comparable business applications.
- Demonstrated ability to use Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Model (LLM) tools effectively for data queries, research, analysis, and insight generation.
- Strong track record of producing high-quality written research and translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level audiences.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders across teams, functions, industries, and geographic regions.
- Proven project leadership and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities, deadlines, client commitments, and travel requirements.
- Strong independent and collaborative problem-solving capabilities, with sound judgment and the ability to take ownership of complex research questions.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
- Ability to work effectively within a fully remote environment and collaborate across geographically distributed teams.
Benefits
- Expected total annual compensation of $91,000–$150,000, inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, depending on location and experience.
