As a Renewals Associate, you will own a portfolio of client renewals and guide each opportunity from early outreach through final contract execution.
You’ll play a key role in protecting recurring revenue while creating a smooth, professional experience for clients.
The position combines relationship management, organization, follow-up, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll collaborate with internal teams and use platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and DocuSign to keep renewal processes accurate and on track.
Proactive communication will be essential as you identify potential roadblocks and resolve issues before they affect renewal timelines.

Accountabilities- Manage a portfolio of client renewals from initial outreach through agreement execution, ensuring each renewal is completed accurately and on time.
- Initiate renewal communications at least 60 days before the scheduled renewal date.
- Prepare and send renewal agreements to clients through DocuSign and monitor completion through signature.
- Maintain consistent and timely follow-up with clients throughout the renewal cycle.
- Schedule and facilitate client meetings when additional discussion or coordination is required.
- Identify potential roadblocks, friction points, or disengagement early and take appropriate action to keep renewals moving forward.
- Escalate non-responsive or disengaged clients promptly to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
- Accurately document all client communications and renewal activity in Salesforce.
- Keep renewal tracking tools up to date with relevant progress, actions, and outstanding items.
- Finalize completed renewals by ensuring accurate updates are reflected in both NetSuite and Salesforce.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to improve workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and increase operational efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to resolve renewal issues and maintain a positive client experience.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in renewals, account management, customer success, sales operations, or a related client-facing function.
- Highly proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented mindset with a strong “can-do” attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, particularly when identifying and resolving obstacles to timely renewals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and client relationships simultaneously.
- Intermediate Excel skills and confidence working with business data and tracking tools.
- Experience successfully using AI productivity tools, including platforms such as ChatGPT and Claude, to support professional workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records across multiple systems.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the persistence needed to keep renewal processes moving forward.
