• 5+ years of experience in journalism.
• Proven mastery of journalistic standards, including accuracy, fairness, and critical values.
• Experience with a wide range of reporting techniques, including data analysis.
• Adept at developing sources and convincing people to go on record.
• Comfortable with urgent, high-stakes stories and balancing quick investigations with longer projects.
• Capable of collaborating with colleagues from multiple entry points.
• Ability to travel, as necessary, for stories, team meetings, and trainings.
