The Opportunity:


We are seeking a Business Development Representative to work in a call center setting, focusing on outbound calls, LinkedIn prospecting, emails, and inbound leads to originate loans.


As a Business Development Representative with Visio, you will contribute to the Sales Department by:

  • Generating qualified leads and building a robust pipeline of potential broker partners
  • Pitching and presenting our mortgage lending solutions, value proposition, and onboarding process to broker prospects
  • Scheduling and conducting discovery calls and demos to understand broker needs and tailor outreach accordingly
  • Collaborating with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure seamless handoff and broker activation
  • Tracking all activity and pipeline movement in CRM (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot)
  • Staying up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and broker challenges
  • Identifying investors' strategies and advising them on how our loan products can help them achieve their financial goals
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business needs
  • Work Schedule: Monday–Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm CST 
  • Available Remote Locations: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, NC, OH, SC, TX, UT
  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 (Exempt level position)


What We Are Looking For:

  • Someone with 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience (mortgage, real estate, or financial services industries preferred)
  • Someone with a High school diploma/GED equivalent
  • Someone with a proven track record in outbound sales and cold outreach
  • Someone with excellent communication, relationship-building, and persuasion skills
  • Someone comfortable in a metrics-driven environment with high outbound activity
  • Someone highly organized with strong follow-up discipline
  • Someone proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Someone with the ability to use standard office equipment, printer, scanner, copier, fax, telephone, personal computer, and other peripheral devices
  • Someone who is a self-starter, highly motivated, goal-oriented, passionate, high-achieving, and hardworking
  • Internal Applicants: 6 months of Visio Lending work experience which includes no disciplinary actions within the last 3 months. The current manager notification is needed to apply for a vacant position. Any applicant that does not meet these conditions will require approval from the executive team member over the hiring department prior to extending the job offer

What We prefer to find:

  • Someone with a bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Someone with an understanding of the mortgage broker channel and lending landscape
  • Someone with experience selling to brokers, loan officers, or real estate professionals
  • Someone familiar with DSCR and non-QM products
  • Someone who is gritty, resilient, and energized by rejection and competition
  • Someone who has experience with CRM platforms
  • Someone with the ability to analyze financial information
