About the role

Ritual is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Senior Associate to support regulatory initiatives across labeling, marketing, and product compliance for our dietary supplement portfolio. This role will assist the Regulatory team in reviewing content, documenting regulatory assessments, and helping to ensure that Ritual products meet internal and external compliance standards.


This is a strong opportunity for an early-career regulatory professional looking to deepen their experience in the dietary supplement space while contributing to meaningful, consumer-facing projects in a highly collaborative environment.


What you'll do

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings as regulatory liaison to gather regulatory input requirements and ensure accurate hand-offs between functions
  • Support cross-functional work as regulatory liaison between Brand, Creative, Customer Experience, Impact, Packaging Engineering, Product Development, Quality Assurance, Scientific Affairs, etc. teams to substantiate claims and copy/advertising in compliance with applicable FDA, FTC and other regulatory body guidelines
  • Assist with providing regulatory guidance and answering compliance-related questions regarding Ritual products and associated marketing assets
  • Work closely with Scientific Affairs and Marketing on claims substantiation programs and outputs
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to gather regulatory input requirements and ensure accurate hand-offs between functions
  • Conduct reviews of claims and advertising copy and escalate questions or issues to senior regulatory team members
  • Assist in review and/or preparation of labelling and marketing materials to ensure products comply with the applicable regulations in the intended market by providing advice on all the mandatory elements on a label (including declaration of ingredients, nutrition/supplement facts, cautionary statements, disclaimers, etc.)
  • Participate in the design of new product launches by assisting with providing regulatory guidance on product formulation, package design, labeling, and claims development
  • Assist with reviewing and approving regulatory components of final packaging artwork and label copy
  • Participate in regulatory intelligence by tracking and assessing current and shifting regulatory trends and policy shifts affecting dietary supplements to inform product development, labeling, and marketing compliance strategies

What you'll need

  • Education: Minimum of a BA/BS degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, Public Health, or related field
  • Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in a regulatory, quality, or scientific support role in the dietary supplement, food, or personal care industry
  • Basic knowledge of U.S. regulatory frameworks, including FDA and FTC guidelines for dietary supplements
  • Strong interest in expanding knowledge of domestic and international regulations and evolving industry standards
  • Familiarity with label formatting, supplement fact panel requirements, and ingredient declarations is a plus
