This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Vice President, Sales - East based in United States.

This executive sales leadership role is responsible for driving growth, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding market presence across an assigned region.
The position focuses on developing strategic sales plans, leading high-performing teams, and delivering measurable revenue outcomes.
You will work closely with enterprise clients, internal teams, and market partners to identify opportunities and deliver tailored solutions.
The role combines sales strategy, account management, business development, and operational leadership.

Accountabilities:

The Regional Vice President, Sales - East will lead regional sales initiatives by managing teams, developing strategic account plans, and driving business growth. This role requires strong commercial judgment, customer focus, and the ability to collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional outcomes.

  • Lead, coach, and evaluate sales teams to achieve regional revenue objectives and business goals.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans tailored to large accounts, focusing on retention, growth, and new product opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer executives, prospects, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market share through effective sales strategies.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze results, and implement actions to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Educate customers on market conditions, industry trends, pricing dynamics, and available solutions.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of products, services, and competitive positioning to provide accurate guidance.
  • Partner with marketing, product, and internal teams to address customer needs and improve service delivery.
  • Act as a strategic liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure expectations and service standards are met.
  • Use sales automation tools to maintain account information, track activity, and prepare performance reports.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader with a strong background in enterprise account management, healthcare-related solutions, and team leadership. The successful candidate combines strategic thinking, communication excellence, and a proven ability to deliver revenue growth.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of direct outside sales experience.
  • 3+ years of sales management or leadership experience.
  • Proven success managing major accounts and achieving sales or revenue targets.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare products, services, underwriting concepts, and industry trends.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with executives, clients, and business partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment while maintaining strong engagement and collaboration.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Clean driving record and ability to meet applicable licensing requirements within assigned territories.
