This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Regional Vice President, CPA Alliances in United States.

This senior business development leadership role focuses on building and scaling strategic partnerships with CPA firms to drive integrated wealth management growth. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and developing relationships with accounting firms at a national and regional level, transforming them into long-term referral partners. Acting as a key connector between tax professionals and wealth management services, you will help create value for clients through coordinated financial and advisory solutions. The role blends strategic partnership development, consultative selling, and market expansion within the financial services ecosystem. You will also play a critical role in shaping a scalable referral program that drives AUM growth and revenue contribution. This is a remote position requiring national travel, operating in a fast-paced and highly relationship-driven environment.


Accountabilities:
  • Identify, engage, and develop strategic relationships with national, regional, and mid-sized CPA firms aligned with target client profiles
  • Drive outreach to CPA firm leadership, including Managing Partners, Tax Partners, and Advisory Leaders
  • Present and position structured referral programs, highlighting client value, compliance integrity, and revenue opportunities
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with CPA firms, acting as the primary relationship owner
  • Develop joint business development initiatives and co-marketing opportunities to accelerate referral growth
  • Facilitate onboarding and integration of CPA partners into the broader referral ecosystem
  • Partner with leadership to refine and scale referral program strategy, structure, and performance metrics
  • Track, analyze, and report KPIs including partner acquisition, referral flow, conversion rates, and revenue impact
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and professional accounting networks
  • Ensure compliance with SEC and state regulatory requirements in all partnership structures and agreements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales within financial services, RIA firms, CPA firms, or professional services
  • Strong understanding of the RIA model and wealth management ecosystem
  • Proven track record of sourcing, closing, and scaling strategic partnerships
  • Experience working with or selling into CPA firms and accounting professionals
  • FINRA licenses (Series 7/63/65/66) preferred or willingness to obtain if required
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
  • Ability to operate independently in a national, travel-intensive role
  • Strategic thinker with strong relationship-building and consultative selling abilities
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce and business platforms like Workday is a plus
