This leadership role offers the opportunity to drive annuity sales growth and strengthen relationships with financial professionals across a strategic regional territory.
You will serve as a trusted advisor and sales leader, helping distribution partners deliver solutions that provide long-term financial protection for customers.
The position combines relationship management, business development, and strategic territory planning within the annuity and financial services space.
You will collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to increase production, support sales initiatives, and achieve regional objectives.

Accountabilities:

As a Regional Vice President within the Annuity Division, you will lead regional sales initiatives, develop advisor relationships, and execute strategies to grow annuity production across assigned distribution channels. You will act as a key representative of the organization, supporting business objectives while building strong partnerships with financial institutions and independent advisors.

  • Develop and execute a detailed regional business plan to increase annuity production and achieve sales objectives.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with financial institutions, financial advisors, and distribution partners across the assigned territory.
  • Train, motivate, and support producers by providing product knowledge, sales strategies, and market insights.
  • Cultivate strong relationships within independent broker-dealer, bank, and wirehouse channels.
  • Serve as a strategic partner and advocate for organizational objectives while effectively managing territory resources.
  • Partner with internal wholesalers to coordinate regional sales strategies, maximize opportunities, and improve advisor engagement.
  • Drive activity levels, sales performance, and relationship-building initiatives aligned with territory goals.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to expand distribution and improve business performance.
  • Represent the organization as a leader within the annuity distribution team and promote a customer-focused approach.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced annuity sales professional with a strong background in external wholesaling, territory management, and advisor relationship development. You should have a proven ability to generate sales results, build strategic partnerships, and operate effectively within financial distribution channels.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in annuity wholesale distribution.
  • Previous experience in external sales management is preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales results and growing business within an assigned territory.
  • Strong experience working with annuity distribution channels, including independent broker-dealers, banks, and wirehouses.
  • Established relationships with financial institutions and advisor networks are highly valued.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute territory strategies independently.
  • Active State Life and Health Insurance License.
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses required.
  • Preferred location in the Seattle or Portland metropolitan areas to support the Pacific Northwest territory, including OR, WA, ID, MT, and AK.
