This is a senior commercial leadership role overseeing strategy, revenue growth, and clinical excellence across a high-impact healthcare region. You will drive market expansion, lead and develop high-performing sales teams, and execute regional strategies aligned with national and global objectives. Operating at the forefront of innovative medical technology, you will influence both commercial success and patient outcomes. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with marketing, commercial operations, and clinical stakeholders, while maintaining key external relationships with healthcare leaders. Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute regional commercial strategies aligned with national and global revenue objectives, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing field sales team by recruiting top talent, setting clear expectations, and driving accountability.
  • Design and optimize territory alignment and pricing strategies to maximize market penetration and profitability.
  • Monitor sales performance, provide structured coaching, and implement action plans to elevate individual and team results.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities, providing strategic field insights.
  • Support product launches and lifecycle management by serving as a key field partner during development, introduction, and evaluation phases.
  • Partner with Commercial Operations to negotiate and support regional and national contracts that expand sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare facilities, and clinical decision-makers.
  • Oversee and manage the regional sales expense budget, ensuring responsible financial stewardship and alignment with corporate guidelines.
  • Represent the organization at national and regional trade shows and professional events to strengthen brand visibility and partnerships.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of medical device sales experience and at least three (3) years in a medical device sales leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success within a medical device startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong expertise in Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS), pain management, orthopedics, spine, or operating room markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to set ambitious goals and execute strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with experience influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders and healthcare professionals.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (60%+ travel required).
