Position Overview
Hunter Strategy is seeking a motivated Recruiter with 2 years of professional experience to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. This role will support our full-life cycle recruiting efforts, working directly under the Talent Acquisition Manager to identify, attract, and secure top talent across various technical disciplines. The ideal candidate will have foundational recruiting experience and demonstrate the potential to develop into a full-life cycle Talent Acquisition professional.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing & Screening
- Source candidates using multiple channels including Dice.com, LinkedIn, and referral networks
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for open positions
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and interest
- Document candidate information including skills, experience, clearance status, and availability
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings
Recruitment Process Support
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager to understand position requirements
- Assist in creating and posting job descriptions on various platforms
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Collect interview feedback and maintain detailed notes in Rippling's Recruiting App
- Track recruiting metrics and prepare regular status reports on open positions
Candidate Experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Share information about Hunter Strategy's benefits, culture, and project details
- Maintain regular communication with candidates regarding process updates
- Assist with offer letter preparation and coordinate the offer acceptance process
- Support the onboarding process for new hires including background checks
HUBZone Recruitment
- Assist in sourcing candidates from HUBZone areas to support compliance requirements
- Collect and verify HUBZone documentation from eligible candidates
- Track HUBZone metrics to support certification requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of professional experience in recruiting or job role that could serve as a foundation for recruiting
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools preferred
- Familiarity with government contracting environment preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of talent acquisition processes
- Attention to detail and excellent organization skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple positions simultaneously
- Basic understanding of compensation structures and benefits
