This role focuses on leading revenue cycle management transitions during dental practice migrations to new practice management systems in a fully remote environment.
The specialist ensures that billing, insurance, and accounts receivable workflows are accurately transferred and optimized during go-live events.
They play a key role in reducing operational disruption by identifying risks in financial data and resolving them before and during implementation.
The position also involves delivering virtual training sessions to office teams across multiple locations, ensuring consistent adoption of best practices.
In addition, the role supports post-migration stabilization, monitoring performance and improving revenue cycle efficiency.
This is a fast-paced, collaborative position requiring flexibility, including occasional extended hours and weekend support during critical migration periods.


Accountabilities:

The RCM Implementation Specialist is responsible for ensuring smooth revenue cycle transitions during practice migrations and maintaining operational continuity across all supported offices.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting pre-migration reviews of revenue cycle data, including patient balances, insurance claims, and contract mapping accuracy
  • Supporting migration teams to ensure seamless integration of RCM workflows into new practice management systems
  • Leading virtual training sessions covering eligibility verification, claims submission, payment posting, AR management, and reconciliation processes
  • Providing ongoing remote support before, during, and after go-live events to ensure successful adoption of workflows
  • Developing, maintaining, and improving SOPs, training guides, and standardized RCM documentation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and training to resolve migration issues and improve processes
  • Monitoring post-migration performance metrics and recommending optimization strategies

Requirements:

This role requires strong expertise in dental revenue cycle management and proven experience supporting remote implementations and training initiatives.
Candidates should bring a blend of technical, operational, and communication skills to succeed in a multi-location, fast-moving environment.
Key requirements include:

  • 5+ years of experience in dental revenue cycle management, including billing, AR, and insurance workflows
  • Strong knowledge of dental insurance processes, contract management, and financial reconciliation
  • Experience using or supporting systems such as Cloud 9 and Denticon
  • Proven ability to design SOPs, training materials, and workflow documentation
  • Experience delivering virtual training and remote onboarding support across distributed teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills in a fully remote setting
  • Ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Teams and Zoom
  • Flexibility to support occasional evening and weekend work during go-live events
