This role provides an opportunity to ensure the highest standards of quality in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will work closely with engineers and production teams to perform inspections, testing, and validation of materials and products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal specifications. Your work will directly impact the efficiency, safety, and reliability of production processes. The position requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to apply quality control methodologies across multiple stages of manufacturing. You will help maintain and improve quality systems, support audits, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This is an on-site role where collaboration, adherence to safety standards, and hands-on technical expertise are key to success.


Accountabilities:
  • Perform inspections and tests on materials, components, and final products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Support development and maintenance of quality systems, including writing quality plans, inspection procedures, and calibration techniques.
  • Analyze blueprints and technical drawings to determine critical dimensions and tolerances.
  • Collect and evaluate inspection data, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement.
  • Manage corrective and preventive actions for both internal and supplier-related quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including certificates of conformance, test reports, and ASME/ISO records.
  • Conduct visual, non-destructive, and hydro inspections as required, ensuring plant and product safety standards are met.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance role.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and codes, including ASME and ISO.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of metrology techniques and inspection equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work on-site and occasionally travel to other company locations or vendors.
