This is a highly collaborative environment where QA insight directly influences product stability and delivery success. Your work will contribute to secure, compliant, and dependable digital systems used in regulated government contexts.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing activities.
  • Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
  • Validate sprint user stories against acceptance criteria and ensure readiness for release.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and SMEs to clarify requirements and resolve defects efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation including test cases, test evidence, and QA reports.
  • Support release testing cycles and participate in go/no-go decision-making processes.
  • Engage in Agile ceremonies, providing QA input during sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA and test management tools for defect tracking and test execution.
  • Active U.S. Secret clearance required.
  • U.S. citizenship required and compliance with ITAR/EAR regulations.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile testing methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented and structured approach to testing.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • ISTQB Foundation certification is preferred.
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) and SQL is a plus.
  • Familiarity with government systems or procurement platforms is advantageous.

Benefits:

  • Annual salary range of approximately $75,000 to $112,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer contributions.
  • Paid time off (PTO) and flexible leave policies.
  • Education assistance and certification reimbursement programs.
  • Hybrid/remote work flexibility depending on contract requirements.
  • Opportunity to work on secure, high-impact government technology projects.
