This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of The Canton Group. We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Performance Engineer in the United States.

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Performance Engineer to ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of complex software systems. In this role, you will design and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests while collaborating closely with development and cross-functional teams. You will implement automated testing frameworks, analyze system performance metrics, and provide actionable insights to optimize applications. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely, contribute to mission-critical projects, and make a tangible impact on software quality in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Design and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests using Apache JMeter and other performance tools.
  • Write automated test scripts in Java, Python, or C# to validate functionality across multiple browsers and platforms.
  • Create custom JMeter test plans for APIs, web applications, and backend services.
  • Integrate Selenium tests into CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks, memory leaks, and scalability issues.
  • Implement Page Object Model (POM) and data-driven testing to improve test maintainability and coverage.
  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing using Selenium Grid or cloud platforms like BrowserStack.
  • Debug and troubleshoot test failures and collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Generate detailed performance reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive test documentation and ensure traceability between test cases and requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB are a plus.
  • Proven experience in IT performance testing, test planning, test strategy, and test environment setup.
  • Expertise with performance testing tools including JMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, and monitoring tools like Grafana or Splunk.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, C#, or similar languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD integration, performance benchmarking, and automated test frameworks.
  • Ability to analyze CPU utilization, memory usage, network usage, garbage collection, and database performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management.
  • Ability to perform visual and hands-on activities, including data analysis and extensive reading.
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
