Northern Improvement Company is seeking for a Quality Assurance Analyst. The Quality Assurance Analyst would be responsible for the overall quality of systems and technology that are released into ETP’s production environment. The scope of this role includes the comprehensive aspects of quality including testing documentation, planning and execution of testing, testing validation, and obtaining approval using both manual processes and automated tools that are available in the SGWS environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with Agile scrum teams and be responsible for the quality of the product by handling required testing activities.

• Participate in story grooming session to come with effective test plan and coverage

• Participate in testing activities such as Test Planning, Test case writing, test execution, defect management and reporting.

• Execute Story level, Integration and End to End testing across the Commercial eCommerce area in ETP.

• Build UI/mobile automation within the sprint to certify the stories from quality and performance perspective.

• Participate in sprint ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Sprint refinement, Standup, Defect triage, Sprint demo etc.) involving cross functional and business teams

• Support continuous integration and continuous deployment through automated tests.

• Collaborates within teams to triage and resolve technical issues as needed

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (computer science, information systems, business administration or other industry related curriculum) or combination of education.

• Experience in mobile automation using Appium

• Working experience in eCommerce (B2B/B2C) and/or Retail CRM

• Outstanding written & oral communication, presentation and collaboration skills are required.

• Experience in working in Agile Methodology of software development

• Extensive experience of testing and automating applications built with UI frameworks like Angular JS, React, React Native and Micro front end/microservices based architecture.

• Experience with code control & bug tracking tools such as GIT, bitbucket and JIRA
