QA Automation Engineer

Job requirements
  • Role: QA Engineer
  • Years of Experience: 8+ years
  • Location: remote

  • Actively partner in design, planning and executing work on project and cross-platform efforts
  • Work closely with development, operations, support, business partners and other stake holders to ensure timely collaboration and resolution
  • Planning and prioritizing testing activities
  • Identify gaps and problem areas in the software application
  • Recommending automated software test procedures
  • Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes
  • Preparing automation scripts
  • Troubleshooting automation software issues
  • Creating test plans and test summary reports
  • Preparing detailed test reports
  • Prioritizing and executing tests
  • Executing regression and exploratory testing as necessary
  • Automation suite optimization
  • Review of Pull requests
  • Grooming the user stories with team members
  • Work independently under minimal guidance providing coaching and mentoring for junior’s team members
  • Source code management
  • Creation of knowledge bank on wiki/confluence
  • Selenium with Java, Cucumber framework, automation frameworks to integrate backend with RESTful API's, Flyway, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins, Maven.
