About the Role

This is a position within the QA Analyst team, working under the guidance of the QA Director, but closely with the development team. The QA Analyst must be a detail and process oriented, independent, self-motivated individual with a proven track record of experience testing software in diverse environments for multiple platforms. 

Join an elite team of highly skilled QA Guru’s and play a key role in expanding and architecting Keeper’s QA mobile testing systems and test case management to deliver a high functioning and enjoyable user experience for the end user.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing of mobile applications, ensuring functionality, usability, and performance across multiple devices and platforms (iOS, Android).
  • Set up and configure mobile testing tools and environments (e.g., Appium, Selenium, or others) to meet testing objectives.
  • Manage tickets and document testing activities using Jira and Confluence, ensuring all defects and issues are logged and tracked appropriately.
  • Utilize test management platforms such as TestRail to create, manage, and report on mobile testing progress.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify compatibility and performance issues across different mobile devices, OS versions, and network conditions.
  • Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure mobile applications meet quality standards and perform consistently across a range of devices.
  • Conduct regression, functional, and performance testing for mobile apps to ensure quality delivery.
  • Review and follow standardized QA processes for mobile application testing, ensuring all necessary tests are conducted and documented.

Requirements

  • QA software and/or mobile testing experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of mobile development (e.g. native, react native, hybrid, PWA, or web-responsive), APIs, and relevant tools and technologies
  • Familiar with mobile emulator software (e.g. xCode, Android Studio)
  • Knowledge of Jira is a plus
  • Willing to learn how to deliver work iteratively and push goals to the finish line
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a group of team members
  • Minimum 3 years programming experience with Java, javascript and Python
  • Strong problem solver with focus on code design, quality and architecture.
  • Working knowledge of software development methodologies and tools including
  • Experience with automated build systems, version and project control and issue tracking systems

Preferred Requirements:

  • Javascript knowledge 
  • Ability to work with Terminal to side load installs 
  • Knowledge of Xcodes and Android Studio tools
  • Any automation on mobile platforms
