Who we’re looking for
ParentSquare’s CMS, Smart Sites, is growing! And, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join the team! In this role, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the development, implementation and delivery of Smart Sites to our customers. This is a dynamic position that requires a strategic mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for driving projects to successful (and timely) completion.
This role will include:
- Leading and managing end-to-end project lifecycle for Smart Sites (CMS) development, from project initiation to delivery.
- Collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Effectively communicating project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks, proactively addressing challenges to keep projects on track.
- Fostering a collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
- Ensuring adherence to project management best practices and standards.
- Conducting regular project status meetings and providing accurate and timely reporting to leadership.
- Representing the Smart Sites team at user conferences approximately 2 times per year, answering questions and building relationships with potential referral sources
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager for a CMS or in a similar role.
- Previous EDtech experience, SIS or experience with technical integrations (SFTP, API, etc)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bring a proactive, self-motivated and positive attitude to work everyday
- Multitask with excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Quick learner, tech savvy, and a desire to learn in a dynamic startup environment
