The role of a Project Manager III at Convergint Federal, plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of projects from initiation to completion. Working closely with a team of skilled professionals to deliver integrated security solutions to our clients. Your responsibilities will include planning, executing, and monitoring project activities while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders to ensure project success.                                                                        Â

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:Â
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.Â
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
Field Operations Management:Â
Oversee all aspects of field operations, including site assessments, installations, testing, and commissioning.Â
Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure projects stay on track.
Client Relationship Management:Â
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.Â
Foster strong, collaborative relationships by providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and exceeding expectations for quality and performance.
Resource Management:Â
Manage field personnel and subcontractors, ensuring they have the necessary tools, equipment, and training to execute project tasks effectively.Â
Coordinate with internal departments to allocate resources efficiently and optimize project outcomes.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:Â
Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that installations and configurations meet industry standards and client requirements.Â
Adhere to regulatory compliance guidelines and safety protocols to maintain a secure and hazard-free work environment.
Documentation and Reporting:Â
Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and completion certificates.Â
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones achieved, and any deviations from the original plan.

Create and Submit Meeting Minutes
Create and Submit Weekly or Monthly Reports
Verify Monthly Man Hour Reporting
Forecast Labor, Vendor and Subcontractor Costs, and ODCs
Maintain Project Budget and WIP
Conduct Subcontract Negotiation, Issue, and Maintain Purchase Orders
Invoicing of Customer and Approving Subcontractor Invoices
Submission of Deliverables and Invoicing in RMS
Attend Kick-off, Site Survey, Progress or Quarterly Site Visits w/ CEHNC, PVT
Review of SVAPP, APP and Assist with AHAs as necessary
Create and Submit QASP
Submit and Maintain Project Schedule
Create Milestone / Progress Payment Schedule
Track Drawing Package w/ Engineering. Â
Review and Submit Deliverables
Create and Submit RFIs, ECPs, and REAs
Create Service Orders and Maintain Service Order Log
Schedule Customer Training Maintain Sign-offs
Review and submission of As-built Drawings
Submission of O&M Manuals
Submission of Cybersecurity Artifacts
CPAR Self-Assessment
Final Invoice and RoC
Create and Submit Letter of Warranty
Track Warranty Claims
High School or GED diploma required.
8 + years’ experience as a Project Management, or related field (preferred)Â
8+ years of proven experience in project management, particularly in the security or technology industry.
8 + years of strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
FRP 2 Plus – Understand project financials, budgets, billing, and WIP reporting with the assistance of a project coordinator.
Managing projects up to $400K
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, time management, schedules, coordination with the ability to build rapport with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
