Job Description

What You'll Do 

This role supports the Electric division - Own the project lifecycle — from kick-off through closeout — ensuring On Time (schedule), On Budget (cost), and Customer Satisfaction. You are the COO of each project you are assigned, guiding your project teams with thorough operational discipline and communication.   • Coach Assistant PMs, Coordinators, and Field Leaders to grow future capabilities.
  • Foster collaboration between field, office, and support teams.

Project Operations

  • Drive operational excellence with the application of the KE Project Management Methodology, owning communication feedback loops up and down the chain.
  • Flag and mitigate projects risks through communication and problem solving.
  • Participate in post-project reviews and drive lessons learned into next projects.

Field Engagement

  • Build partnerships with your field leaders to ensure project success.
  • Maintain a regular presence on job sites to verify progress, safety, and quality.
  • Translate field realities into actionable schedule and budget adjustments.
  • Never be satisfied with current state, always look to improve your teams/processes.

Customer Partnership

  • Be the primary point of contact for clients building trust through transparency, responsiveness, and execution excellence.

Risk & Change Management

Identify risks and submit COs within approved timeframe; ensure approval before field execution when possible.

Documentation & Closeout

Submit closeout package within 30 days of project completion; ensure all warranty documentation finalized.

Team Development

Champion KE PM Methodology; active mentorship of APMs and other field leaders; demonstrated succession readiness within project teams.

Schedule Execution

Translate Project Schedule into weekly and daily work plans; track percent complete; partner with field leaders to coordinate manpower and subcontracts to maintain milestones.

Labor & Resource Management

Assign work efficiently; forecast labor needs; manage equipment utilization and rentals.

Budget & Financials

Own the project P&L; monitor cost and schedule performance weekly; escalate risk and change order financial impacts; forecast monthly project financials (PFP); partner with the PM Director monthly to ensure profitability.

Quality Control

Review installation with field leaders and project executives to ensure adherence to drawings, codes, and specs.

Coordination & Communication

Own and lead daily/weekly/monthly meeting cadence; align field & office teams; ensure risks are captured and resolved.

Safety & Compliance

Lead by example; enforce safety processes; ensure all site personnel adhere to safety protocols and documentation requirements.
