POSITION OVERVIEW
The Project Manager is a key member of the Professional Services team, responsible for leading customer onboarding projects from contract execution through go-live and transition to Customer Success and Support. You will manage internal and external stakeholders, schedule and align resources, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
In addition to project execution, the Project Manager also supports the drafting and delivery of Statements of Work (SOWs) pre- and post-sale, contributing to Routeware’s commitment to delivering a seamless and value-driven customer experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management & Execution
- Lead customer onboarding projects through initiation, planning, execution, and closeout
- Manage scope, timelines, risks, resources, and communication across all project stakeholders
- Facilitate project kickoff, regular status calls, and gate check meetings with internal and customer teams
- Track deliverables, task dependencies, and team member responsibilities to minimize last-minute resource escalations
- Secure internal and external resource commitments, negotiate and track change orders as needed
- Ensure project documentation and decisions are clearly captured and shared
Statement of Work (SOW) Support
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define and draft accurate, timely SOWs aligned with business needs and technical solutions
- Ensure SOWs are scoped correctly with clear alignment between problem statements and proposed solutions
Project Hygiene & Reporting
- Maintain accurate project data in internal systems and ensure timely updates to project stages, schedules, and financials
- Provide regular status reports to stakeholders
- Store all relevant project artifacts and documentation in designated shared locations
Revenue & Capacity Forecasting
- Contribute to accurate forecasting of services revenue and capacity planning
- Maintain up-to-date information in forecasting systems on a weekly or as-needed basis
Process Improvement
- Provide feedback and ideas to continuously enhance the customer onboarding journey
- Participate in or lead special projects to improve delivery efficiency, collaboration, and customer satisfaction
Core Success Metrics
- 90%+ of projects delivered on time and within budget
- 95%+ of SOWs delivered on time and aligned with customer needs
- 90%+ of status reports delivered on schedule
- 100% of project documentation completed and stored properly
- 95%+ accuracy in forecasting updates and project data
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Implementation Experience: Demonstrated success as a Project Manager, Implementation Consultant, or Business Analyst, with a track record of leading complex customer-facing projects from planning through execution.
- Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas), used to manage project schedules, resource forecasts, and track project KPIs with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving Expertise: Ability to anticipate project risks and roadblocks and apply structured problem-solving methods to drive resolution and keep initiatives on track.
- Interpersonal Effectiveness: Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, build rapport with stakeholders, and influence without authority.
- Communication Skills: Clear and concise verbal and written communicator, skilled in preparing and delivering client-facing presentations, project updates, and executive summaries.
- Data Fluency: Comfortable interpreting and presenting project data, leveraging dashboards, reports, and queries to inform decision-making and stakeholder alignment.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Statistics
