If this sounds exciting to you, let’s chat!</p><h3>Project Manager</h3><p>Further is looking for a Project Manager to independently own mid-sized client projects from kickoff through delivery. You'll build the plan, lead the team, manage the budget, and serve as the primary operational point of contact for the client.</p><p>This is a hands-on delivery role. You'll be the person who keeps a project clear, predictable, and low-friction — anticipating issues before they become escalations, protecting scope and quality, and giving clients confidence that the work is under control.</p><h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What You'll Do</strong></span></h2><ul><li><strong>Plan and execute. </strong>Create and manage the detailed project plan — defining scope, building the schedule, securing resources, and managing the budget from kickoff through final delivery.</li><li><strong>Manage the project team. </strong>Run the day-to-day: assign tasks, clarify responsibilities, remove roadblocks, and make sure every team member is clear on their role and what's expected of them.</li><li><strong>Own client communication. </strong>Serve as the primary operational contact for the client, providing clear and consistent updates on status, tracking progress against milestones, and managing expectations throughout the engagement.</li><li><strong>Manage risk proactively. </strong>Identify, document, and mitigate project-level risks and issues. Develop mitigation plans and escalate critical issues to the Program Manager or Practice Lead when needed.</li><li><strong>Own delivery quality. </strong>Accountable for delivery process, quality control, and deliverable readiness — ensuring the team's work meets SOW requirements and Further's standards for excellence.</li><li><strong>Improve how we work. </strong>Adhere to firm-wide PM standards and contribute practical improvements to templates, processes, and ways of working that benefit other projects.</li></ul><h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What You'll Bring</strong></span></h2><ul><li><strong>Experience. 5+</strong> years managing projects end to end, ideally in a client services, consulting, or agency environment. [PMP, CSM, PSA or equivalent certification a plus.]</li><li><strong>PM tooling expertise. </strong>Hands-on command of project management software (Jira, Smartsheet, Asana) for task management, resource allocation, and reporting. </li><li>Professional Services Automation software experience (contada/mavenlink, certinia, hubspot, box). </li><li><strong>Project management methodologies. </strong>Deep proficiency in formal frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and the judgment to select and apply the right approach for the project at hand.</li><li><strong>Experience managing scope, schedule, and budget control</strong> with real skill in financial tracking, resource planning, and scope control to prevent creep.</li><li><strong>Task and dependency planning. </strong>The ability to break complex deliverables into manageable tasks, sequence them logically, and manage dependencies into a realistic, achievable timeline.</li><li><strong>Clear, concise communication. </strong>Comfort with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
