Project Finance Analyst II - FSP

This role sits at the intersection of finance, project management, and operational delivery, supporting critical financial processes across client projects in a fast-paced consulting environment. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate billing, revenue tracking, and financial reporting aligned with contractual terms and project performance. The position plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity by analyzing monthly results, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting decision-making through clear reporting and insights. Working closely with project managers, functional leads, and business development teams, you will help manage budgets, forecasts, and contract-related financial activities. You will also contribute to month-end close processes and ongoing financial operations across assigned service lines. This is a highly collaborative role where precision, accountability, and strong analytical skills directly support project success and business performance.

Accountabilities

Oversee and coordinate timely and accurate monthly billing deliverables in accordance with contract terms and client requirements.
Review monthly revenue performance for assigned service lines and ensure alignment with financial expectations.
Develop and maintain project backlog forecasts to support financial planning and visibility.
Manage contract and budget data within Workday, including billing schedules, rate sets, and related financial configurations.
Perform month-end variance analysis, including commentary on revenue, utilization, and trend drivers to identify risks and opportunities.
Partner with Project Managers, Functional Leads, and Business Development teams to support project execution and change order processes.
Contribute to month-end close activities and other regional or global accounting support functions as needed.
Support financial reporting, analysis, and ad hoc project work within the global project finance team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in a project finance, accounting, or similar analytical role.
Experience within a consulting or professional services environment is a strong advantage.
Solid understanding of billing and basic accounting principles.
Familiarity with Workday or similar ERP/financial systems is preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall Microsoft Office skills.
Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Exposure to small or mid-sized business environments is considered a plus.
