This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Project Controls Manager in United States.

In this role, you will support the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects by overseeing project scheduling, controls, and performance tracking across complex electrical transmission and substation programs. You will play a key role in ensuring project timelines, costs, and execution plans are accurately developed, maintained, and analyzed to support informed decision-making. Working closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams, you will help translate technical scope into structured schedules and actionable insights. This position requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Your work will directly contribute to improving project predictability, efficiency, and overall delivery performance across critical infrastructure initiatives.


Accountabilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules for large-scale electrical transmission and substation projects.
  • Review conceptual plans, scope documentation, and engineering designs to ensure accurate schedule development.
  • Build and maintain critical path logic networks, bar charts, and baseline execution schedules using industry-standard tools.
  • Perform schedule analysis, including critical path and float assessments, to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Track and report schedule performance and status updates to project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Conduct historical data analysis to support forecasting, benchmarking, and future project planning.
  • Collaborate with project teams to improve scheduling accuracy, consistency, and overall project controls processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project controls, scheduling, or construction planning roles.
  • Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and project scheduling methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of electrical, civil, or mechanical engineering concepts in infrastructure projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively in collaborative, team-oriented environments.
