This role sits at the core of a highly regulated, data-driven financial services environment, ensuring that issue management processes are executed with rigor, transparency, and regulatory alignment. You will be responsible for driving the operational backbone of issue tracking, reporting, and resolution across multiple business units. Accountabilities:- Own end-to-end issue management program execution, including monitoring, reporting, documentation, and communication to ensure audit-ready and regulator-compliant operations.
- Produce accurate, timely reporting aligned with SLA requirements and regulatory standards, ensuring high-quality documentation across all issue workflows.
- Analyze issue trends and root causes, translating findings into actionable recommendations for business units and leadership teams.
- Ensure adherence to issue management frameworks, including ticket hygiene, escalation protocols, and SLA compliance across cross-functional teams.
- Partner with Legal, Operations, Engineering, and business stakeholders to track, resolve, and communicate issue status and resolution progress.
- Improve program efficiency by identifying automation opportunities and leveraging data tools to enhance reporting accuracy and scalability.
- Support readiness for regulatory exams, audits, and compliance reviews through structured documentation and reporting practices.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in issue management, compliance operations, program management, or risk operations within a regulated financial services environment.
- Strong experience working with data and reporting tools such as advanced Excel or Google Sheets, Jira or similar ticketing systems, and BI platforms like Looker.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including UDAAP, FCRA, and TILA, and understanding of the consumer lending lifecycle.
- Experience producing formal communications or documentation subject to compliance or regulatory review.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Ability to operate effectively in structured, SLA-driven environments with strong attention to detail and process discipline.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred experience supporting audits, regulatory exams, or consent order environments.
- Familiarity with automation tools or AI-driven workflows to improve operational efficiency is a plus.
