Samsung’s unique advantage in the consumer electronics market and growing focus on Digital Health and AI / Gen AI provides exciting technical challenges and rewarding career experience.&nbsp; Join us!&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>Samsung Research America Digital Health Team is seeking a Program Manager – Digital Health Sponsored Research to help drive the execution of the Digital Health Team’s Sponsored Research Program.&nbsp; You will be responsible for providing project management to a cross-functional team tasked with driving innovation through partnerships with leading universities and academic medical centers. These partnered research programs are focused on bringing together the unique capabilities of Samsung and leading universities and academic centers to co-develop innovative research and cutting-edge digital health product at the intersection of consumer wellness and clinical care.</p><p>You will work closely with the Clinical Director- Sponsored Research to drive the successful execution of multiple research programs.&nbsp; You will be tasked with clearly defining the timelines, deliverables and budgets for multiple ongoing projects. You will lead a cross-functional team of software, data science and clinical team members to ensure all project/study aspects are effectively managed and successfully delivered.&nbsp; As an ideal candidate, you will be well versed in clinical study execution, have expertise in deployment of software/wearables for clinical studies and be experienced in technical troubleshooting.</p><p>This position is based out of SRA’s office in Mountain View, CA. </p><p><strong>Position Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and implement a strong program management system to manage multiple programs effectively, ensuring timely progress and delivery of project milestones and deliverables</li><li>Help manage the Sponsored Research Program and university partnerships to ensure that our co-innovation leads to strong research outcomes (product, data, algorithms, IP)</li><li>Bring together team across Samsung and partnered centers to ensure that the right teams are engaged to deliver on goals</li><li>Provide timely reviews and input to partners in areas such as clinical study design, algorithm development, technical updates and research involving our wearables, devices and apps</li><li>Evaluate wearable and mobile apps used in the study to ensure stability and ease of use. Help troubleshoot technical issues as they arise</li><li>Proactively identify project risks and work towards creative solutions to keep project on track</li><li>Deliver thorough project updates to stakeholders</li><li>Ability to travel to sites as needed (~15% time)</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Master’s or graduate degree in engineering or sciences preferred&nbsp;or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience</li><li>6+ years of program management experience, including 4+ years in a digital health/wearable environment</li><li>Strong background in clinical research operations (preferably in digital health/wearables space) and hands-on experience supporting trials from start to finish</li><li>Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedules, deliverables, resource allocation, risk assessments and budgets</li><li>Demonstrated experience collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners and technical team members to ensure alignment and effective execution of clinical studies and device deployment</li><li>Proven track record of delivering challenging multidisciplinary scientific and technical projects</li><li>Identify and work to remove barriers to successful completion of the overall project, with particular emphasis on resolving issues with cross-functional implications</li><li>Tracking project progress using appropriate metrics and tools, providing regular status updates to stakeholders</li></ul><p><strong>Special&nbsp;</strong><strong>Attributes:</strong></p><ul><li>Self-starter who can lead projects and teams with minimal supervision</li><li>Detail-oriented multi-tasker with strong organization skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills, executive presence and the ability to collaborate with anyone in the organization</li><li>Track record of innovation and creative problem solving</li><li>Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in making decisions</li><li>Previous experience working in a matrixed and geographically diverse business environment</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">Our total rewards programs are designed to motivate and engage exceptional talent. The base pay range for roles at this level is listed below, but may be higher or lower in other states due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training.
