This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage strategic programs that empower developer communities and foster collaboration across diverse teams. Accountabilities
- Lead and manage complex programs and projects from planning through execution and closure, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timeline.
- Coordinate on-site program logistics and operations, managing speakers, presenters, and external contributors from invitation through follow-up.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, and post-mortems for clarity and accessibility.
- Communicate project updates, requirements, and challenges effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, and meetings.
- Prioritize tasks, manage team time efficiently, and proactively identify and mitigate potential schedule impacts to ensure timely project completion.
- Navigate ambiguity, adapt strategies as needed, and make data-driven decisions to keep projects on track.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration and alignment across programs.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, develop contingency plans, and resolve inter-program dependencies effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Communications, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in program management, operations, or managing complex, multi-faceted initiatives.
- Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, using data to drive decisions and overcome challenges.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, and fostering productive relationships.
- Ability to work effectively in dynamic environments and handle evolving priorities with clarity and resilience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with vendors and agency partners.
- Track record of successfully driving complex initiatives from conception to execution.
- Familiarity with developer communities or ecosystems, engaging directly with developer audiences.
- PMP certification or equivalent credentials.
