This role is ideal for a creative and strategic professional passionate about designing impactful learning experiences for working adults. You will develop and enhance flexible, industry-aligned programs that empower learners to advance into high-paying careers. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will design, test, and refine curricula and coaching strategies while integrating data-driven insights to continuously improve outcomes. Your work will directly influence learner success, program scalability, and employer alignment. The role balances hands-on instructional design with strategic planning, ensuring programs are engaging, effective, and responsive to workforce demands. Innovation, collaboration, and learner-centered problem-solving are key to thriving in this position.

Accountabilities

  • Design, curate, and maintain high-quality curricula and program resources across multiple learning tracks that align with industry standards and employer needs.
  • Collaborate with coaching, operations, admissions, and third-party content providers to ensure scalable, relevant, and effective program delivery.
  • Develop and implement innovative program models and instructional strategies to improve learner engagement, retention, and career outcomes.
  • Utilize learner feedback, performance data, and labor market insights to refine curricula, coaching practices, and program design.
  • Lead or support the development of technical, instructional, or coaching-focused initiatives, including workshops, labs, and assessments.
  • Train and support coaches and staff with resources, best practices, and updated program content.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and industry partners to ensure program models are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Apply human-centered and inclusive design approaches to enhance learner experience and accessibility across programs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in instructional design, program design, or related roles, preferably in education, workforce development, or technical training.
  • Strong project management, data analysis, and problem-solving skills to guide program improvements and evaluate outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply learner-centered approaches, human-centered design, and innovation to program development.
  • Experience designing curricula, learning resources, or coaching frameworks that drive measurable learner success.
  • Technical/Instructional Program Designer roles require deep expertise in IT, cybersecurity, or software development.
  • Innovative mindset, flexibility, and a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Alignment with organizational mission and values, including fostering inclusive excellence and equity in learning opportunities.
  • Nice-to-Haves: experience with qualitative/quantitative research, curriculum evaluation, and instructional technologies.
