About this Position


The Professional Services Manager at Net at Work is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of client-focused IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and exceeding client expectations. This position blends strategic leadership, project management expertise, and technical knowledge to guide a team of engineers and project managers in delivering exceptional service and fostering strong client relationships.



Job Responsibilities


Team Leadership and Development

  • Inspire, lead, and manage a team of engineers and project managers, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and growth opportunities to foster a high-performing team culture.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and implement development plans to enhance team capabilities.

Project Delivery Excellence

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of IT project delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Manage budgets, financial forecasting, and resource allocation to drive profitability and efficiency.
  • Act as a key escalation point to resolve complex project challenges and ensure smooth execution.
  • Continuously refine and enhance project delivery processes to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as a strategic partner for their IT initiatives.
  • Support pre-sales efforts by participating in scoping, pricing, and solution design for client projects.
  • Ensure transparent, consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle to maintain satisfaction and trust.

Operational and Strategic Excellence

  • Partner with the Director of Technical Services to align project delivery strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Establish, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and enhance the Professional Services team’s success.
  • Optimize resource utilization, ensuring efficiency and alignment with project and organizational goals.

Technical Expertise and Continuous Improvement

  • Stay ahead of emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices in IT services and project management.
  • Guide the adoption of innovative tools, techniques, and methodologies to elevate service delivery.

Cross Departmental Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Sales, Managed Services, and other teams to ensure seamless delivery of client projects.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions between the Professional Services and Managed Services teams post-project completion.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years in IT consulting or professional services, ideally within an MSP environment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and leading technical teams to deliver outstanding results.
  • Certifications (Preferred): PMP, ITIL, or relevant technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, AWS).
  • Expertise in networking, cloud services, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT solutions.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.


Compensation and Benefits


Base salary range: $130,000 - $140,000.

This position is also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
